Grow your site
If you are reading a hosting review site, you are probably near the start of a website project: picking the platform, moving a site, or fixing one that got slow. That work matters, and it is what the rest of this site is for. But it is worth being clear about what hosting can and cannot do. A fast host removes a ceiling. It does not create visitors.
Once the host is solved, the question that actually decides whether the site works is where its traffic comes from. For most small sites the durable answer is search: content that answers real questions, structured so search engines and AI assistants can find and cite it. Unlike hosting, which you buy once and mostly forget, search visibility compounds. Every useful page you publish keeps working, and the work you put in this year makes next year's work land harder.
There are two honest ways to do that work. The first is to run it yourself: learn the tools, do the keyword and content work weekly, and keep the judgment in-house. It costs time and attention, and it fits owners who want marketing to be a skill they own. The second is to have the loop run for you by software or a service, which costs money instead of time and fits owners whose hours are better spent on the business itself. Neither path is wrong; they fit different owners.
We make a product for each path, so this page is also a disclosure. The two options below are our own properties, built by the maker of this site. They are labeled that way wherever they appear, and the links carry no affiliate tracking.
Our properties: we make these. Not affiliate links.
Your host is solved. Now the traffic.
I want to do my own SEO
ProvenSEOTools
Benchmarked reviews of SEO and content tools, for owners who run their own marketing. It is the wrong fit if you would rather hand marketing off than learn the tools.
I want SEO done for me
RankFlywheel
A closed-loop SEO automation platform, for owners who want the marketing loop run for them. It is the wrong fit if you enjoy doing SEO yourself.
To restate the ownership plainly: ProvenWPHosting, ProvenSEOTools, and RankFlywheel are operated by the same maker. Recommending our own products here is a conflict of interest, which is why they are labeled as ours, never scored by our own rubric, and always described with who they are the wrong fit for. The full policy is on the disclosure page.
